I actually thought it was an excuse to control the purse strings (if you're interested see my Nov. 1st post on no-bid contracts) that's why I started blogging, after I first wrote several letters to columnists, bloggers, even Joe Scarborough and Chris Shays. Still think that's the preferred plan, but washing their hands of reconstruction seems to be plan b. We may well go from getting leftovers while politically connected firms get fat (plan a) to getting almost nothing.<BR/><BR/>Should link to your post and add more tonight or tomorrow. If you're curious, it took some searching to find any La. blogs that weren't either conservative or mainly about nonpolitical matters.
