Louisiana Republicans react to Vitter

Nola.com
Members of the Republican establishment have issued statements in support of Vitter:

"We can't forget about all of the positive things David has done for the state of Louisiana," said Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Quitman. Secretary of State Jay Dardenne added in a personal note, "Your great work for our state should not get lost in the current frenzy." Rep. Jim McCrery, R-Shreveport, called Vitter "an effective senator for Louisiana" and said, "I look forward to working with him." Statements of support were also issued by Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Jefferson, and Rep. Mike Strain, R-Covington, who urged voters to wait for all the facts to come out.

But . . .

Three fellow Republicans in the Louisiana delegation -- Reps. Bobby Jindal of Kenner, Richard Baker of Baton Rouge and Charles Boustany of Lafayette -- have yet to comment on Vitter's situation.

Not a ringing endorsement exactly.
