Boustany splits from rest of delegation on response to Katrina

Boustany said the omnibus recovery bills supported by U.S. Rep. Charlie Melancon, D-Napoleonville, and U.S. Sens. Mary Landrieu, D-New Orleans, and David Vitter, R-Metairie, probably won't garner much support.

"This bill that Charlie (Melancon) dropped is not going to go anywhere, not to disparage what they're trying to do," he said.
