The five-point plan agreed to by Rodriguez and LaGrange calls for reduction of the depth of the MR-GO from 36 feet to 28 feet, expedited design and construction of floodgates and storm surge protections on the MR-GO and Lake Borgne area, and completion of the Inner Harbor Navigational Canal Lock. The plan also calls for the relocation of certain existing maritime operations affected by the closure.Not the best solution for St. Bernard, but better than today's conditions.
