The recovery of oil and natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico remained essentially where it was this time a week ago, according to the Minerals Management Service.
According to the MMS, about 1 million barrels, or 67.7 percent of daily production, remains offline. Normal oil production in the Gulf is about 1.5 million barrels per day.
