Shepard Smith is on Dave Letterman now, giving a moving account of his experience in the aftermath of Katrina. It seems that the newspeople on the scene, like Smith, felt the real human tragedy of the flood, and aren't afraid to tell the truth about the abysmal and disgraceful failure of the feds protect New Orleans and its inhabitants.
