A new survey finds Louisiana, often at or near the bottom in health surveys, is in the top half of the nation in planning for disease, disaster and bioterror attacks.
It's among only seven states which the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers prepared to distribute drugs and other emergency supplies from a federal stockpile.
